Behavioral Health
We are excited to announce the upcoming addition of behavioral health services to our offerings at Wellcome Care. Our dedicated and compassionate professionals are committed to providing comprehensive behavioral health to support individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress.
We recognize the importance of emotional well-being in overall health and are dedicated to offering a safe and supportive environment where individuals can receive the care they need. Our behavioral health services will include therapy, medication management, support groups, and resources to empower individuals on their journey towards mental wellness.

About Ms. Rampasaud
Darlene Rampasaud is a seasoned clinician with over 20 years of experience in mental health, specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma, and addiction counseling. Her integrative therapeutic approach helps individuals achieve emotional wellness by addressing the cognitive roots of behavior. A cancer survivor, Darlene’s personal journey fuels her deep commitment to purpose-driven care.

She holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Hofstra University and a Master’s in Social Work from Adelphi University. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she has earned over 60 professional certifications, including specialties in CBT, Community Outreach, Leadership, and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) services. In her SAP role, she supports individuals navigating Department of Transportation return-to-duty protocols.
Darlene’s work spans individual, family, marriage, and group therapy, with a strong presence in foster care, faith-based organizations, and school systems. She has mentored students and interns from diverse academic backgrounds, providing training in dynamic group facilitation and clinical skills.
A published author and creator of psychoeducational tools, Darlene integrates creativity to reduce stigma and enhance engagement in therapy. She regularly delivers behavioral health workshops to address disparities affecting underserved youth and communities.
Her dedication aligns with Wellcome Care’s mission to foster healing through collaborative, client-centered care. Darlene approaches every interaction with empathy, professionalism, and a drive to empower others.
